PassPixie: Free Passphrase & Password Generator

Ask the pixie for a passphrase you can actually type, or a sour little password when a form insists.

A passphrase generator that runs nowhere but your browser

PassPixie builds every secret on the page you are looking at. There is no account, no server round-trip, and no record of what it made. Close the tab and the string is gone for good, which is exactly how a generated password should behave.

Words are drawn from the EFF Dice-Generated Passphrase lists — 7,776 words on the long list, 1,296 on the short one — using crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, so no word is quietly more likely than another. Strength is reported as the honest size of the recipe in bits rather than a crack-time estimate that flatters the result.

What it makes

How to use it

Pick a recipe, press Generate, press Copy, and paste the result straight into a password manager. PassPixie is a generator, not a vault — it keeps nothing. If you want a deeper explanation of the randomness, the entropy maths, or why there is no “test my password” box, the frequently asked questions cover all of it.
